Eric Hargrove a Chicago Police officer for 3yrs was charged after a search of his Mt.Greenwood home turned up Pornographic images on his computer of boys & girls as young as 12 .
Hargrove worked as a patrol officer in the 4th Dist . He is been held on 100,000 bond

I agree. He may use the Pete Townsend defense. When Townsend was nabbed by British authorities for downloading child porn, he claimed he was going it as "research" on a book he was working on. That was over 5 years ago and, to the best of my knowledge, he never published said book. He was never charged for the crime.
If this is indeed the case, he should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law....
This is the first step to full blown molester........ Looking at kiddyporn, then forwarding his actions into molesting a child......... I wonder if they have him surfing the net in chatroom's trying to lure young boys for a meeting... Now that will be interesting!
