The statistics are shocking

1 in 4 girls is sexually abused before the age of 18. (96)
1 in 6 boys is sexually abused before the age of 18. (96)
1 in 5 children are solicited sexually while on the internet. (30, 87)
Nearly 70% of all reported sexual assaults (including assaults on adults) occur to children ages 17 and under. (76)
An estimated 39 million survivors of childhood sexual abuse exist in America today. (1)
Even within the walls of their own homes, children are at risk for sexual abuse

30-40% of victims are abused by a family member. (2, 44, 76)
Another 50% are abused by someone outside of the family whom they know and trust.
Approximately 40% are abused by older or larger children whom they know. (1, 44)
Therefore, only 10% are abused by strangers.
Sexual abuse can occur at all ages, probably younger than you think

The median age for reported abuse is 9 years old. (64)
More than 20% of children are sexually abused before the age of 8. (76)
Nearly 50% of all victims of forcible sodomy, sexual assault with an object, and forcible fondling are children under 12. (74, 76)
Most children don't tell even if they have been asked

Evidence that a child has been sexually abused is not always obvious, and many children do not report that they have been abused.
Over 30% of victims never disclose the experience to ANYONE.
Young victims may not recognize their victimization as sexual abuse.
Almost 80% initially deny abuse or are tentative in disclosing. Of those who do disclose, approximately 75% disclose accidentally. Additionally, of those who do disclose, more than 20% eventually recant even though the abuse occurred.
Fabricated sexual abuse reports constitute only 1% to 4% of all reported cases. Of these reports, 75% are falsely reported by adults and 25% are reported by children. Children only fabricate ½% of the time.
Consequences of child sexual abuse begin affecting children and families immediately. They also affect society in innumerable and negative ways. These effects can continue throughout the life of the survivor so the impact on society for just one survivor continues over multiple decades. Try to imagine the impact of 39 million survivors.

Health and/or Behavioral Problems:

The way a victim's family responds to abuse plays an important role in how the incident affects the victim.
Sexually abused children who keep it a secret or who "tell" and are not believed are at greater risk than the general population for psychological, emotional, social, and physical problems often lasting into adulthood.
Children who have been victims of sexual abuse are more likely to experience physical health problems (e.g., headaches).
Victims of child sexual abuse report more symptoms of PTSD, more sadness, and more school problems than non-victims. (10, 16, 55, 72)
Victims of child sexual abuse are more likely to experience major depressive disorder as adults. (55, 72)
Young girls who are sexually abused are more likely to develop eating disorders as adolescents. (16, 40, 89)
Adolescent victims of violent crime have difficulty in the transition to adulthood, are more likely to suffer financial failure and physical injury, and are at risk to fail in other areas due to problem behaviors and outcomes of the victimization.
Drug and/or Alcohol Problems:

Victims of child sexual abuse report more substance abuse problems. 70-80% of sexual abuse survivors report excessive drug and alcohol use. (10, 16, 89)
Young girls who are sexually abused are 3 times more likely to develop psychiatric disorders or alcohol and drug abuse in adulthood, than girls who are not sexually abused. (16, 40, 89)
Among male survivors, more than 70% seek psychological treatment for issues such as substance abuse, suicidal thoughts and attempted suicide. Males who have been sexually abused are more likely to violently victimize others. (90)
Teenage Pregnancy and Promiscuity:

Children who have been victims of sexual abuse exhibit long-term and more frequent behavioral problems, particularly inappropriate sexual behaviors.
Women who report childhood rape are 3 times more likely to become pregnant before age 18.
An estimated 60% of teen first pregnancies are preceded by experiences of molestation, rape, or attempted rape. The average age of their offenders is 27 years.
Victims of child sexual abuse are more likely to be sexually promiscuous. (39, 59, 60, 70)
More than 75% of teenage prostitutes have been sexually abused.

Adolescents who suffer violent victimization are at risk for being victims or perpetrators of felony assault, domestic violence, and property offense as adults.
Nearly 50% of women in prison state that they were abused as children.
Over 75% of serial rapists report they were sexually abused as youngsters.
Most perpetrators don't molest only one child if they are not reported and stopped.

Nearly 70% of child sex offenders have between 1 and 9 victims; at least 20% have 10 to 40 victims. (23)
An average serial child molester may have as many as 400 victims in his lifetime.
_______________________________________________________________________________________Bitch 2:
We have to stop these predators from preying on our children. there is a group out there called NAMBLA they advocate that boys as young as 4 or 5 years old know what they want sexually and that if they want a realtionship the adults shouldnt be punished .American Man/Boy Love Association is a group that believes it is okay for men to have sex with boys. They say their goal is "to end the oppression of men and boys who have freely chosen, mutually consensual relationships".

NAMBLA was formed in 1978. members of NAMBLA have been charged with murder and rape, just to name a couple. On an episode of America's Most Wanted, John Walsh stated “That he and the FBI has tried for years to stop NAMBLA, and that all members of NAMBLA are sexually abusing young boys.”

In February of 2005 seven members of the NAMBLA were arrested in California and charged with allegedly planning to go to Mexico and have sex with boys. Two of the men that were arrested were teachers. They were going to take a boat to Ensenada, where they were told boys would be awaiting them at a Bed & Breakfast. The men requested that the boys be as young as eight years old

All these men should be put to death. they are so sick that they really believe that they are doing nothing wrong by having sex with young boys.

Bitch 1 says............

I believe this crime should be held to the same laws as murder...........The victim, lives and breathes with this every single day of their life........There is no forgetting about it, there is no washing it away.....

Bitch 2 has been doing a wonderful job with this blog, and she asked me to put my 2 cents in....... And I am going to, for her, for me, for my daughter and for my friends whom have suffered through childhood sexual abuse.............

I lived through it, my daughter lived through it.......... It makes me sick every single day, knowing the man that did this to my daughter is still breathing free air. Living a life of luxury. And not paying for his dirty disgusting sins........ He TRIED to ruin a beautiful young girl, by perpetuating his sick twisted fantasies............ She is strong my child.........She is a true survivor........

Wake up folks.......... The statistics I believe are far short of what they really are.......There is so much shame surrounding sexual abuse and molestation, that many will not come forward.......... I didn't....... I kept silent, and smiled at my molester's funeral..... i rejoiced and thanked God he was were he should be, in hell........

I pray for the day my daughters molester ends up where he is...... I will rejoice with her, we will raise our glasses, and toast to better tomorrow's.

My daughter, being the daughter of a cop was afraid to come forward, and tell me.......... When she did it was too late, she was already an adult, i had no recourse...... WATCH YOUR CHILDREN........ If things are not right in your marriage, watch your spouse and how they react to your children..... Things were hidden well from me, and living with a sociopath is a very tricky ordeal...... I thought i brought her and I to safety, inturn, he had already gotten to her when i thought i saved her. You just don't know.........

Little tidbits...........Females are also molester's, not just men.............. There is a high percentage of molested turning into being molested............ If you know of anyone that has been molested and has not sought counsel, urge them too, they are in pain........... A pain that is so deep, you can't sleep at night without a nightmare........

Children should be free to be children. Mother's should not have to worry about savages raping their children.......... These people should get the electric chair.........They are MONSTERS!!!!!!!!!!! No word's can describe what i feel for or about them, other then i HATE THEM!

If you are one and reading this, do us and our children a favor and bite the bullet. No loss to humanity there!

I was sexually abused repeatedly starting at the age of 5 until my early to mid teens. There is no punishment severe enough for these bastards. Based on my experiences, a lifetime isn't long enough to heal the wounds inflicted by these predatory pieces of shit. At almost 53 years old I vividly remember abuse but I can't remember my first baseball or the first time I rode a bicycle.

Thank you both for posting this. Sexual abuse does so much harm to its victims it is unbelievable. The scar;s that are carried throughout one's life cannot me measured.

The mental scar's are forever there. The emotional scar's manifest in alcoholism, eating disorder's, PTSD, nightmare's, failed relatioship's because you can't trust anyone, obsessive compulsive disorder and at the extreme mania..........

Seeking help is the only answer if you were molested.. Staying quiet does not help you, nor does it help those that are victim's, potential victim's and parent's........ Being vigilant with our children is imporant.... But as bitch 2 says, even it can happen in a cops house to a cops child. Sad very sad.

You two stay safe out there.

hugsss you both.

My wife worked paedophile and child protection units, so we've had a few tears before bedtime. I've posted the below before, somewhere else, but I'm pasting it here because it fits the thread. There is no known cure for these people, but I believe there is a known remedy. Trouble is it takes some backbone to implement.

In my area a convicted child ‘serial sex-offender’ was re-arrested for more of the same hideous crimes, less than 3 months after the Home Office (Gov't policy) decided to release him less than halfway through a 7 year sentence for indecency with children. Acting on information received, the local cops knew he was probably `at it again` within weeks of his release but all they could do was bring him before Magistrates and indicate his `suspicious behaviour` near children. The court made an order “forbidding him to go no closer than 30 feet from anyone under 16”. No GPS tracking device was fitted to him to bill him when he entered a forbidden area of the city, viz the congestion charges for motorists! Within weeks several more young boys had their lives ruined by this monster. He’s now inside again, this time for “life” although I wonder how long that will mean.

The police who presented the case that put him away felt they were constantly putting in a mile of effort and paperwork in order to get one-inch results. No wonder they get demoralised. You couldn’t make this stuff up.

Do these guys still operate?
